Hand Sink
Health codes require you to provide hand sinks at certain locations in your kitchen to protect the health of your employees and patrons, and you have many options to choose from when selecting a new one. Drop-in sinks and undermount sinks are installed in a countertop or work table, helping to locate them close to your food prep areas where they’ll be needed most. A wall-mount hand sink can save space and can be installed in the kitchen, near employee entrances, or in your break room. Useful hand wash sink options include paper towel and hand soap dispensers. Some are built with side splashes that prevent water from splashing into nearby areas, a precaution that may be mandated by building codes if that sink will be used near open food.
